Acoustic Folk-o-Billy-Rock-o-Blues
Based out of Franklin Pennsylvania
Eddie StClair has been writing songs and performing since 1984. He is inspired by Tom Petty, John Fogerty, Randy Stonehill, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles and John Cougar Melloncamp. He sings, plays guitar and harmonica. He has performed with a variety of groups including "Upside" 1993 , the "WannaBeatles" 2003, "Eddie's October" 2005 and now 2B40. He released a CD in 1996 entitled "Same Old Change" and then the 2B40 CD "Thursdays" in 2012. Eddie has also been featured on cable television: Armstrong Cable on the show, "Dirty Dog Live".
Sharon began playing guitar in the late 80s. She surprised Eddie (dating at the time) with a rendition of "Blackbird" by the Beatles. Later on in life, Sharon took up the bass guitar and mandolin in support of the newly formed 2B40 band in the summer of 2007. Sharon and Eddie formed the band 2B40 after they both turned 40 following a particularly inspiring road trip to see Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers . The band has also included Carolyn Longo on lead guitar and Derek Stewart on percussion. The also appeared on the bands recording, Thursdays.

As well as a original songs that range from story telling folk ballads to rock-a -billy swing numbers and even some jazz and blues songs. Eddie has also penned some crowd favorites that tickle the funny bone with subjects like

- hill billy infidelity
- male pattern baldness
- caffine addiction
- last calls for bar room love

In addition to the local performances, the band has also has some exposure beyond Venango County. Eddie and the CD were featured on the Marty O Show radio program. The Marty O Show can be heard on WYFN 94.9 FM Albany NY and is syndicated around the country to Chicago, Detroit, Florida, Raleigh NC, Houston, Los Angeles, Denver and New York City.
